Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information XRT Consulting LLC (“RankByMe”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the RankByMe website, dashboard and WordPress plugin (the “Service”), how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information

To provide and improve the Service: run checks, build your business profile, write suggestions, make the changes you approve, show reports and data, process your balance, send service emails (such as password resets), keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t use it for advertising.

Google user data. When you connect a Google account, we only read your Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile data (we never change anything there), and we use it only to show you, in your RankByMe dashboard and reports, where your customers come from and how your website and listing perform. We don’t use it for advertising, we don’t sell it, we don’t share it with others except as needed to provide this feature, comply with the law or protect against abuse, and no person reads it unless you ask us for help, it’s needed for security, or the law requires it. We don’t use it to train any models. RankByMe’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google at any time in your dashboard (or in your Google account’s security settings); we then delete the stored access token, and numbers we kept in memory expire within an hour.

Google Ads. Only if you link your Google Ads account to RankByMe’s manager account: we read campaign, keyword and search-term data to show you reports and suggestions. We change your Google Ads only when you approve that specific change in RankByMe (for example adding negative keywords or pausing a campaign), each change is recorded, and you can undo it in RankByMe. The same Limited Use rules above apply to this data. You can unlink at any time in Google Ads or with “Disconnect” in RankByMe; RankByMe’s access then ends and your campaigns keep running as they are.

3. Service providers we share information with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job for us:

We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

4. How long we keep information

We keep account information while your account is open. Reports, profiles and records may be kept after that for as long as needed for the purposes above, for legal and accounting reasons, and to resolve disputes. Free reports can be viewed by anyone who has their link.

5. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as hashed passwords, encrypted connection keys, HTTPS and access limits. No system is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and edit your business profile in the dashboard, disconnect WordPress, and remove websites at any time. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing support@rankbyme.com. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and you can contact us to use them. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it.

7. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection rules than your country.

8. Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The new version applies from the date shown above.
